Emberfall Saga
Emberfall Saga is the kind of RPG that respects your time without dumbing itself down. Combat is turn-based and tactical — positioning matters, elemental weaknesses matter, and the auto-battle is there for grinding but never feels like the intended way to play the good fights.
The story follows a group of travelers trying to keep a fading world lit, and the writing has real heart. Side quests often tell small, self-contained stories that stuck with me longer than the main plot beats. The hand-drawn art holds up beautifully even on an older phone.
Progression is generous enough that you rarely hit a wall, and the skill system lets you rebuild characters cheaply, so experimenting isn't punished. If you want a long RPG you can dip in and out of over weeks, this is a strong pick.
