Arcade racers that still feel fresh
Realistic racing sims are great, but on a phone I usually want the opposite: instant speed, big drifts and zero patience for setup menus. Arcade racers deliver that, when they're done right.
Neon Drift Rally is my current favorite. The drift-and-boost loop is immediately satisfying, tracks are short enough to replay endlessly, and chasing your own ghost time is quietly addictive.
What separates a good arcade racer from a forgettable one is feel. The car has to respond the instant you touch the screen. Too much lag and the whole thing falls apart.
Keep the sessions short and these games stay fun for months. Treat them as a quick hit, not a grind, and they reward you for it.
